Terrible-Bad organizer-Bad plan

There was a lion dance performance at Campbell street tonight, started at 6.30p.m. It was the terrible night to me, the performance only started at around 8.15p.m. I was waiting at the roadside from 6.15p.m. Some of them got fedup and gone home. The control of the traffic was terrible, some of the roads should be blocked. But they didn't block the roads, they only blocked the road after it finished, what's the point?! There was very crowded, when they performed the lion dance, it was hard for them to perform freely in this narrow place or crowded place. The performance duration was about 15 minutes, but all of us waited for more than one hour. It was terrible, why didn't they choose Komtar place, or wider place so everyone could see... wasted all the time only. The lion dancers are from from Johor, rated as world number 1.

Chinese New Year

On the first day of CNY, early morning 10 something went to Tesco. Carpark was empty. Planned to have McD breakfast, forgot to bring the voucher. So ended up at Pelita for Roti Canai....

On my way to grandma's house... At my grandma's place, the only things that I would do is sleep and eat. And I have 2 terrible nights there. My grandma's house has a dog, midnight heard it barked.. around 3a.m or 4a.m if not mistaken, second night also the same. Every year I have to experience this.. what a pain.... T_T

Second day went to Tesco located at Alor Setar, 90% f them are Malays inside there lol

On my way back home, went to Jusco at Seberang Perai. It was crowded also. After that, stucked at Penang bridge... lol

Treat

Got my bonus and planned to treat my parents dinner. They've decided to go to One-Stop there to eat western food. We went to "The cupcake cafe" which situated at the back entrance of One-Stop. Everytime I just passed by that place, didn't really go and read the food menu. This is my first time to try the food there. But the western food here is a bit expensive compare to other outlets. "Fish N Chip" already costs you 9 dollars. So I ordered "Fish N Chip", it tasted not bad for the fish, but the salad not so nice, nevermine, vegetables are healthy for life.

TAO lunch buffet

First time had my lunch buffet at TAO at E-gate with college friends for new year gathering. If I'm not mistaken, I asked my friend last time the price was RM55 something. Now they've increase RM2, so each of us have to pay RM57.50. Five of us with the total of RM287.5, but the food that we've ordered from 12p.m to 2p.m was around RM800. I guess this is really worth it. Furthermore this is my first time to have expensive lunch buffet.

Another farewell dinner

Last night went out for dinner with colleagues to celebrate his farewell. We were having our dinner in "DAI DONG" at Campbell Street. That street was very quiet when gone home..

Let the rotten be rotten

This guy is working under me. First impression was okay, later on become tortoise. Working slow, swing the clock or play snake 80% of the working hours. Reading novels everyday, nothing else he could do, read novel and work at the same time. Sometimes also mess up a lot of things. Plus, he is the most KBC person that I never seen before on Earth. Everytime I talk, there must be something to do with him, interupt my conversation. Or when someone is asking me something, then he answer for me. My poor colleague who sat next to me doesn't have his own privacy anymore. Everytime he checks his mailbox or types messages in MSN, he needs to be aware. Everything seems transparent beside him, so he needs to act quickly to minimize his browser before he sees them. The most of his time is spent on KBC, that's why his working speed is superslow. My other colleague told me that the boss is complaining about his working speed. I don't really care him anymore eventhough he is under me, let it be. Let him die. One more thing, I remember that day when we were rushing our work, I asked him to finish that task on that day, it was urgent. I still saw him spending his time on reading novels.

Fearless - Taylor Swift

Recently got nothing to do, first time listen to this album (Fearless - Taylor Swift) that I never heard before. She is new to me, I have to say I started to like her, love her songs, her voice that will bright me up all the time. Slow rhythm and smooth. Each song doesn't sound bored to me. 

Everyone is not happy in office

No smile on their faces, less increment, less bonus compare to last year. Less people, sales go down. Not willing to hire people. Time to go...

Overall, there were three tables for company staff. The food there just so so... not too bad. Lucky draw only one, which is IPOD phone.... so stingy.... at least should have 2nd and 3rd prize....

But I didn't get the IPOD phone of course... no luck today. So tired and bored... why have annual dinner on Sunday.. tomorrow need to work somemore.. Didn't expect anything also for all of these..

CNY Festival celebration in advance

Sunday evening, Guang Beng Yit Poh / Guang Beng newspaper had organized a chinese new year festival at their front office. The event started at around 6.40p.m... can't remember the time. The end of the show should be at 11.00p.m, but I didn't watch all. I saw this big lantern and took it down (Note: all the photos in this blog is taken by mobilephone, I'm lazy to bring a camera/video cam). Well.. I grabbed this big lantern woodstick beside it and walked in a circle. After that they'll give you a piece of red paper that has a cow printed on it. The meaning of doing this is just to wish that everything will be good in new year or coming days..

CNY Pizza

Saturday noon, nothing to do. Lunch time alone, asked some friends to go out for lunch. We've decided to go to Pizza Hut located at Sunrise there to try the new CNY pizza. It tasted just normal, not nice, nothing special....

2nd Display case overloaded

Sigh... my second display case overloaded, no one wants to buy this display case. Wanna custom make another new bigger display case after I sell this case. Well... my MGS4 figumate are still in the box and the rest also................................ arghh......

MGS4 figumate

Today got my MGS4 mini figures at One-Stop Toonshoppe. 4 of them in one set. Although I'm not a MGS4 fever, but I really couldn't stop in buying....

New Sunshine

Went to new Sunshine supermarket on first day. It was crowded, things are cheap, I could feel the floor shaking too... 

Peanuts

Yesterday wandered at Gurney Plaza and went to ColdStorage to buy this japanese peanuts, it also has other pack mixed with normal peanuts. But the mixed pack is really expensive, 180g RM13.99. Whereas this pack without mixed, 130g RM6.99. See the difference? 

APT Haircut

Okay.. but I'm not handsome. As requested by Mr.Yew, I post some shots of my haircut from APT hair saloon here. When I went to the saloon, the professional hairstylist asked me what kind of hairstyle do you want? I just told him that, cut short, but not too short, that's it. Last time everytime I cut my hair, I always told the hairstylist I want this and that, this is like you're giving them one assignment to do exactly what you wanted. But recently, I didn't mention about what style. I think it's better to let the hairstylist to decide and make you look great right? They will know what kind of hairstyle suits your face shape, and your hair thickness whether it's suitable for this and that bla bla bla. My opinion, if you want to know which saloon has good haircut, I think it's better not to tell them what hairstyle you want, just tell them how short you want to cut it.

Happy New Year 2009

Happy New Year to everyone. May your best wishes come true. I'm not going out for countdown, what I did was watching NTV7 HK series and HK series DVD at home. SMS to all my friends as usual like every year everyone did. 

This new year 2009, don't know should I be happy or sad... hope everything will be okay or better.

Sigh, Friday 2nd Jan 2009 still have to work... don't have the mood either. Go to office and fish or dream also not a bad idea... I did that all the time. Who cares..
